The Story:

This dramatic comedy is set in the U.S. It's about a girl who gets "left at the altar" (her groom-to-be never shows up) on her wedding day, so she takes comfort in the bar of the hotel where the wedding was supposed to take place and there gets a sympathetic ear from the bartender as she pours out her sad tale of woe. She gets more and more drunk, but eventually he turns her sadness into hope and she leaves feeling better than when she arrived.
